Proudly Supporting

Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA)

Mulch 2 You is proud to announce their support of BCNA and involvement in bringing their message to people everywhere.

We will bring you images of our unique ‘Pink Mulch’ as it is used around various locations and events.

BCNA works to ensure that Australians affected by breast cancer receive the very best support, information and care appropriate to their individual needs.

BCNA is the peak national organisation for Australians affected by breast cancer, and consists of a network of more than 100,000 members and 300 Member Groups. More than 90 per cent of our members have had a diagnosis of breast cancer, and the remaining members have had a personal experience with breast cancer through a family member or friend.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer affecting Australian women.  In 2016, it is estimated that 15,930 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer.  This means on average, 43 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer every day.  Breast cancer in men is rare, although it does occur.  It is estimated that 150 men will be diagnosed in Australia in 2016.

BCNA  is represented by the Pink Lady silhouette, symbolic of our focus on the women diagnosed with breast cancer and all those around her. –
